How do I know that the website is secure?
When you enter the payment screen section you will be in a secure webpage as shown by the padlock on the bottom of the screen or in the address bar. The page webpage address will also have been changed from http to https, where the ‘s’ stands for secure.
We do not keep or deal with your credit or Laser card details. All your details are handled by Realex Payments who are a certified and approved payment provider. Realex Payments take and validate your details and you are then transferred back automatically to our website to finish your transaction.
How do I know that you received my order?
We will send you an acknowledgement email as soon as we receive your order.

Which Postal Methods do you use for Delivery?
Irish Customers can choose, directly on our website’s Checkout Page, between An Post and Courier Service.
If delivery by An Post is selected then address details need to be accurate as we cannot accept responsibility for non-delivery if your address details are insufficient or incorrect. If the item ordered is larger than normal envelope size, customers are advised that there needs to be someone at the address to take delivery of the order. (You may find it easier to give a work address, where possible, if it is unlikely that anyone will be able to accept your order at your home address.) Where An Post is unable to make delivery, then a note will be left for you to collect your order at your nearest An Post Parcel/Packet Collection point.
For Irish Customers who select the Courier Service Option we need your home/mobile telephone number and address details to be correct. These details need to be accurate as we cannot accept responsibility for non-delivery if your address and telephone details are insufficient or incorrect. Please note that as the Courier tends to deliver during the working day you may find it easier to give a work address, where possible, if it is unlikely that anyone will be able to accept your order at your home address.
All other Countries: Depending on the weight / size of items ordered, dispatch will be normally made with An Post, Royal Mail, DPD or Parcelforce. Please note that as the couriers and delivery services tend to deliver during the working day you may find it easier to give a work address, where possible, if it is unlikely that anyone will be able to accept your order at your home address.

Postal Costs are calculated on the total weight of all items in your Shopping Basket / Cart at the Checkout Page.

How do I know if an item that I have ordered is out of stock?
If an item from your order is out of stock, we will contact you as soon as possible by phone or by email.
What happens if an item that I order is out of stock?
If an item that you order is out of stock, then when we contact you, you will be give the option of purchasing another item, getting a refund or waiting for the item to come into stock again. However we cannot guarantee when or if a specific item will be in stock again as this depends on deliveries from our suppliers.
What happens if I change my mind and want to return my purchase?
If you are not happy with your purchase and you change your mind, you have seven working days to return your order. It must be returned in its original packaging, the product must be unused and in perfect condition and in a resaleable state. You must pay for the return delivery charges.
If the product is faulty or damaged when you receive it, please contact us and return it as soon as possible and we will arrange for a replacement, repair or refund. We will refund the delivery charges in this case.
What happens if I fail to collect my order from the Postal Collection Centre?
After 3 - 5 days (depending on the postal regulations of the individual country) uncollected items will be returned to Kitchen Essence. Re-delivery of these items to the original or alternative address will require payment of the correct postal fee.
What happens if the Courier cannot contact me?
If the Courier is unable to find a person to accept delivery, the recipient will be contacted by the courier using the phone numbers given when placing the order and will make arrangements for the delivery. If contact cannot be made, the goods will be returned, after 3 working days, to Kitchen Essence and a charge will be made for re-delivery to the original or an alternative address.
